I ordered this second colour swatch with high hopes.
But, the sample had the gray tinge to it as well, which was very disappointing.
I'm now looking elsewhere for a vanity with a wood finish I actually like.

This is the oak colour I am going to use for my vanity. The sample is reality is a little darker/cooler than the online version but that is why I ordered the sample and I'm glad to have done so. It is a little darker than I envisioned but it'll still work.

The colour of the mid-century oak stain is a very nice mid-tone stain that is warm without looking overly warm and “orange” like many mid-century wood tones. I will post photos of our new vanity in this stain once our renovation is complete.
